The Scandi is where tiny-home skeptics change their minds. Twelve-foot ceilings and windows on every wall make 24 feet feel like plenty, and white oak, black cabinetry, and a few well-chosen textiles keep it calm.
You park, then walk about a hundred feet down a mulched path through the woods; path lights come on at dusk. Along the way you pass your private fire pit and the barrel sauna, so an evening here tends to go fire, sauna, and an early night under the skylight.
Inside there is a kitchenette with a full fridge and freezer, microwave, toaster, and a cast-iron burner; a 55-inch 4K TV with Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube TV; Alexa for lights and music; and a washer and dryer you probably will not need. Downtown Berlin, with its coffee shops, restaurants, and stores, is less than a mile away.
