The Lux
Our biggest tiny home: a jacuzzi under a skylight, a hot tub on the deck, and a 90-inch screen.
The Lux is the bigger and bolder of our two homes. At 32 feet, with a butterfly roof and a deck that runs its full length, it looks striking from the road. Inside, deep navy, warm wood, and brass set a mood that the lighting finishes: there are accent lights from the kitchen to the loft, all dimmable.
The bathroom is the part guests talk about: a two-person jacuzzi and a rain shower under a skylight. Then there is the private hot tub outside, the 90-inch movie screen inside, and a second skylight over the queen bed so you can fall asleep looking up.
It has a full kitchen with a full-size fridge, stovetop, and a convection oven and microwave combo, plus our coffee bar, a loft reading nook, and a shelf of games and books for two. Downtown Berlin is less than a mile away.
A jacuzzi for two under the sky
The bathroom is the showpiece: a two-person jacuzzi tub and rain shower beneath a big skylight, with a towel warmer for when you climb out.
A hot tub on the deck
Out on the full-length deck, a private hot tub sits behind a cedar privacy screen. A gas fire table keeps the deck warm on cool nights.
Movie night, 90 inches wide
A 4K projector and 90-inch screen drop from the ceiling, with speakers hidden overhead. Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, YouTube TV, or AirPlay from your phone.
